ADA Forsyth
History Wall

My role: Creative Direction, Design

To celebrate ADA Forsyth’s 100-plus years of innovation, I helped design a 66-foot timeline that brings the Institute’s history to life. Installed in our new headquarters, it anchors every guest tour and honors the legacy behind modern oral health research.

The ADA Forsyth Timeline was created to showcase more than a century of discovery and impact. I worked closely with ADA Forsyth’s historian to source, scan, and restore archival images, ensuring each decade was represented with authenticity and visual depth.

The timeline’s design features textures derived from microscopic images of Fusobacterium and Streptococcus—two of the most studied bacteria in oral health captured by ADA Forsyth scientists. I partnered with Skylar Rolstad, who led the written elements, and collaborated with our print vendor to bring the 66-foot installation to life with precision color and material choices.

To ensure historical accuracy, I consulted with fourteen senior staff members across departments, refining each entry until the piece represented both the Institute’s heritage and its forward-looking mission. The finished work now serves as a visual centerpiece of our new facility and the starting point for every special guest tour.
